Culled up my favorite images from 2012. What a weird long dragged out flowery farm far flung sort of year. I'm in LA with the professor. It's 9am, time to suit up and go teach a class. Tomorrow we go to Australia.
Sounds like a grand start to the year... If the coming one is anything like 2012, I can only imagine what a beautiful retrospective will be waiting for us next January. Hope amazing adventures are in store for you this year too :) And let me know if a spot opens up for one of the two spring work days!
You're coming to Australia! That is wonderful news! If you find yourself in Melbourne, we would love to show you around. I hope you have a fantastic time. Best, Romy & Sarah (trotski&ash)
this is why I follow your blog. the beauty never stops...
Have to confess that I never loved that 'watery' technique you sometimes used in your interior photos, but that one of Nea at the pond between the two arrangements reminds me of the Millaise painting of Ophelia. Love.
Sarah, your photos make me smile. Like, a real, honest, deep down, soul smile. Lord knows I've been needing one of those. Thanks.
Also, I have to mention that I love how your hair is always so wild and loose and sweeping across your face. Like a Gibson Girl or something. It's great.
Those of us still suffering from Superstorm Sandy don't have such pretty pictures. We pick through the pile of wood, metal, and debris that used to be our house. Right now we are living with relatives, crammed ten people into a three bedroom house. It will get better, I hope...
i was feeling joni too when i wrapped up last year. love all of these images so much...but my favorite might be of you gals laying in the grass in front of that beautiful arch.It makes me smile. swan sink!? well... you see beauty everywhere and we all thank you for sharing it.
