Remembering to practice everyday; I took some time out a few days ago to make these flowers and pictures, just for the hell of it. Have a terrific weekend. Don't forget the magnolia blossoms at the botanical gardens, calling your name.

My old boss and mentor, Ranae Gillie is in town and it's making me incredibly sentimental today...

I recognize the Tillandsia fucshii in the last picture- I sold those at a plant sale yesterday! Lovely photos of your flowers.

lovely flower photos!

Would you answer a question for me? When you photograph outdoors, and want to photograph small sharp details like this (or contrast high focus foreground to a low focus foreground), do you have a way to deal with the way even slight breezes can blur the photo? Or do you just resort to indoors photography and lucky still days? I've tried holding the plant still in various ways outside of the frame, but nothing quite works...
thanks so much!

How beautiful.... I agree a book would be fabulous! Was cleaning up my hellebores yesterday and inadvertently cut one of the blooms off, it is a lovely burgundy and yellow reminder to get my butt off the computer and go play in the dirt.

Glad I found your blog though, will certainly go check out your pop-up shop, when does it open?

Cheers!
