We worked on a gorgeous wedding at The Locusts this past weekend. The staff there is overwhelmingly helpful and just a real pleasure to work with. It was the first big weekend using lots of local product from River Garden which made me really happy. Nothing like Bernadette's field flowers. Also; nothing like having you're own golf cart on site.
Nothing.

Wow. These photos made my stomach go funny. In a good way. What beautiful flowers.
I like that you occasionally have a wind-swept look--a lady who really gets into her work. If you want to spot a dedicated floral designer, look for the one who's sweaty, didn't have time for foundation, and has a large coffee tucked into her toolbox. Golf carts, huzzah!
Breathtaking! Shaking my head and nodding beauty. Can I ask a technical question? Do you use floral foam or frogs in your containers? I'm a self-taught designer in TN and curious. Thanks! I so enjoy your blog.
I wonder whether you could be as kind as to tell us what kind of camera do you use to take these gorgeous pictures. Obviously, the sensibility of the photography is superb as well as the subject, but I can not stop from wondering how do your pictures reach your signature effects and look.
I was wondering whether you could share with us how your images end up so beautiful. What kind of camera do you use, to which extent do you manipulate them and how far are they from the camera original once they reach the blog? I seem to love your photographic talent even more than I love your floral talent:)
