back from crazytown
Two beautiful brides; one got married at The Bowery Hotel, the other at the Montauk Club. I love both these places as wedding reception venues. I only have photos back from the Bowery Hotel - so that's what I'm posting today.
Also our staff for this weekend was top notch. We could not ask for a smarter, more talented, more stylish bunch of assistants: Joelle (who always makes the most delicious snacks for us - see the brown sugar shortbread below), Courtney, Asheley, Deanna and of course Amy who makes everything happen and keeps me collected. I feel so lucky today... and also like I got hit by a bus. I've got other photos to post soon, and some exciting Saipua announcements coming...in the meantime I'm going to tend to my houseplants, do a little gardening and gorge on italian cookies with Nea.

these are SO beautiful, I may almost cry!
Such dreamy, romantic colors - I love them! What are those golden colored fuzzy things? Adorable!
Love your flowers! They are so beautiful and textural.
I could look at these all day. Amazing work, ladies!
...whoa...
your flowers are always so dreamy!
(sidenote: my friend just sent me in the mail a green tea soap from saipua! can't wait for my lather this evenin')
Infreakingcredible!
Saipua flower arrangements are not just arrangements. They are floral poetry. You blow my mind!
Was that a magnolia in the second picture? Gorgeous!
I also liked the look of the tart - that wasn't the cookies you were talking about was it? Anything more you can tell us?
Lovley lovley, how is it thatRanuncula can be so amazing. When i lived in london we would be very excited waiting for the first Italian Ranucuala of the season. Italians do it better don't you know.
for real, you guys are like the charlie's angels of fleurists.
the big flower in the second photo is a type of peony called Clare de Lune...and that IS the shortbread, it's just cut like a tart, and it was Out of control - i'm asking her for the recipe, maybe i can post it. thanks for all your nice comments gang!
Please share with me what the ivory/cream, fuzzy/fluffy flowers are in the first photo. They really add a nice texture. Could use them in a wedding I'm doing in June. I enjoy and appreciate your work!
Nice job powering through the craziness. The results are beautiful.
The last two pictures speak a thousand words each. It must have been hard work and a blast in one to create such beauties.
