[A beautiful delivery from a little ways back arranged by Amy, with fritillaria, curly willow,
freesia, geranium, ranunculus, eucalyptus.]

I wrote a little post about using fritillaria and flower frogs on D*Sponge last week. Check it out.
Also I woke up with the best bed head ever, amazing considering I don't have time to shower before I run to this photo shoot for the queen of craft.

moss

what else is new...? Nea and I went for a hike earlier in the week and I got a nasty tick bite. we removed the tick whole and I'm saving it in a kombucha jar. because that's what they tell you to do on the internet. (It's looking better mom..)

neawoods

On said excursion Nea startled a nesting falcon and we almost both lost our eyes. I've never seen a bigger, nastier bird in my life. Scared the shit out of me, I froze in my tracks and couldn't move for minutes. Nea stood there whining. Then we both ran for it.

Sounds like an eventful walk. there is a nice place to walk down here with no falcons.....
hope you three are well.

Jesus joseph and mary! You better wear eye gear and a leather body suit...but make sure its shimmery green...then you can be some kind of fabulous super flower foliage hero...Ticks are nasty...nasty..and more nasty

Two points.

1. That arrangement is PERFECT. In every way. Amy, if you're reading this, you're a real gem in Saipua's crown...:)

2. Ticks are filthy and gross. In every way. Good you removed it immediately. My friend got Lyme disease from a bite (she had the bull's eye!), but then again, she never took on a broody falcon.

I just love your dog. And don't get me wrong, it's better that you got but by the tick, because they are awful hard to find on dogs, and on people they tend to show. Good thing you were able to get it whole off.

my dear, please get tested for lyme disease. my sis had lyme disease for months without even noticing she had been 'bitten'. Last fall, from one day to the next, she was covered in welts.. 2 days later she was in the hospital. She is ok now but it was a scary scary bitch.

ohh i love fritillaria. it was a "mystery" flower in my garden for years until i posted a pic of it last year on my blog and someone told me what it was. they are the prettiest flowers in the world! or at least in my yard.
