I'm a junkie for cab rides. Love 'em. At my first job years ago my boss would send me on errands in a cab. I would ride to the accountant's office on the Upper East side and pretend I was a rich lady. It felt so luxurious. I still feel like a million bucks in the back of a cab.
Today I took one to lunch at Tea & Sympathy. One of my favorite places, we've been going for over 10 years. I miss the days when you could smoke inside. All the British waitresses would defend you're bad habit and holler if someone next to you made you feel bad for lighting up. When I did smoke, that is. Now it's full of tourists, but it's still good. I sat next to two girls who spent the first 5 minutes with their food photographing it.
Anyway, the picture above...naturally I'm planning a comprehensive campaign to make Aaron stay in NYC. I'll take suggestions...But first I ask you; is there a bar called RAWHIDE in Blacksburg, VA? No. No, there is not.
