Some more purple material from today. Sunday is mothers day; mothers like purple. Susan is coming down to work the shop with me - I'm really excited about that.

Otherwise it's been a hell of a day. I lost expensive flowers, threw a tantrum for Eric's benefit, walked the streets of Manhattan in tears, and found a destitute wet kitten I couldn't save. So I holed up in my office and spent a half hour therapeutically watching Fleetwood Mac videos on YouTube - still didn't feel better. So I'm going home to douse myself in french patchouli, wear all my silk at once, and raid Aaron's record collection.

See you tomorrow,
Sarah

Oh no! I'm so sorry about your day. On the bright side, there will be waterfalls in Brooklyn this July - that's something to look forward to.

I do hope that your Saturday & Sunday have been an improvement on your Friday... love the French lavender, I just bought a plant today from Columbia Road Flower Market... btw, my dear friend visited from NY recently and he gave me some of your soap, which he picked up at the Brooklyn Flea. It smells amazing & is so beautifully wrapped that I think it will have to stay that way... scenting my wardrobe!!

I love love love wisteria! here in Milan, it is EVERYWHERE! the smell is so delish! esp. after a spring rain shower, the mixture of fresh rain and wistera, just makes me want to bottle it up : )
