HELLEBORE: (LEFT WITH BLUE MONKEY)
Poisonous beauty, I will not eat you - because you are delicate...like a sensitive flower. I mean, you really are a delicate flower....Wait...
MOSS: (ENTER STAGE RIGHT)
I found you strewn amidst the lawn...you with aspirations of terrariums and orchid blankets... I thought to rescue you from the claws of cats and weedkillers. In fact I left you in the back of the truck, rolled in tissue paper until you dried up and died.
What have I done???
[A recent visit to the NYC Opera has provided mild dramatic motivation.]

smile. love these photos and your operatic inspiration.
that would be cool if you wrote your ode in italian or german. :)

so often i think when i read your posts that i should have pen and paper near. i learn so much, i want to take notes. i love flowers and plants but i know almost nothing about them and when i pop in i love your details wrapped around the happenings of your days and adventures. today i learned of hellebore and moss... in 2 acts. thanks! glad you were moved by the opera, i'm sure it was a wonderful inspiration. have a beautiful week...
