once in awhile it happens that i get so excited about flowers its paralyzing. i happen to have come across the motherload of porcelain vine yesterday upstate that was hands down a gift from god. to me. and you - because i'm making you (well, and the BAKED boys for their book launch party tonight) the craziest arrangement with it now - and I'm so excited to show you but couldn't wait because it's just overwhelming these particular berries, and now I've probably built it up too much, and it won't be as good as in your imagination
but enough for now - back to work and see you later

i got that same paralyzed feeling a few years ago when i discovered the most perfect persimmons growing in a field beside our office. most folks just don't understand. love the blog; lust for your work!
