Sunday morning shame spiral. Surfing the net,
Nea and I find ourselves dragged down into the
Milli Vanilli vortex once again. Next thing you know I'm downloading
Klymaxx. Why does this keep happening...? Hit me up with what you're listening too, or else everyone who visits
Saipua today will be dragged down with me and my shoulder-padded-double-breasted blazer...Girl, you know it's true.

I've been listening to Madeleine Peyroux a lot. And Norah Jones.
go get "dark was the night". awesomeness.
ooh, ooh, ooh, i love you...
Leonard Cohen, what else?
Help me!
trying to recapture the heat, i'm listening to a mixtape (ok, it's an ipod playlist, whatever) called "summer road trip" from my...road trip last summer. it includes eddie rabbit's "love the rainy nights" cause we listened to that nonstop on a trip to the midwest when i was a kid. is that worse than milli vanilli or just a different kind of bad?
love your blog, btw. long time lurker, first time commenter.
That's very strange, because we've been on a MV kick as well. We've even started calling Roy (black cat) "Fab" for some reason (because he's black, maybe? That's so wrong).
Trying to offset by listening to Fleet Foxes.
i've been on a verve binge, repeating "bittersweet symphony ad nauseum, dancing wildly, much to my dogs' chagrin. you to can to go there:

Against my will, I've been listening to Randy Newman. Short people, in particular. But if I have my way, I'll take our Sunday down to a wallow with Antony and the Johnsons.
In a brighter mood, I'd agree with P.
Blind Melon's albmu 'Nico'
Ingrid Michaelson, "You and I" and "Breakable". These song make me so happy! Love your blog, by the way, and your posts on design sponge too. I'm just drooling over the flower photos.
I recently bought Turn Your Love Around by George Benson and have become obsessed with Easy Lover before I go out. So I'm no help.

the other night a friend posted this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKTiwCez6Zs

Well,we all know what it means to walk along the lonely street of dreams don't we? Sorry for lowering the tone even further!
I'm a little obsessed with Young Holt. "Soulful Strut" is a crowd pleaser, always, but try this amazing live jam:

BUT, I have also been listening to Cat Power- the covers CD. Don't know if that's any kinda antidote to what you've gotten yourself into now.
I have to say, that's one i don't think you are gonna inspire me to watch.
February (cold, dreary, no sun) requires the medicine known as Band of Horses.
